On Thursday, 24 November 2016 total 11 students participated in the Canadian Intermediate Mathematics Contest (CIMC, Grade 9 and 10) and Canadian Senior Mathematics Contest (CSMC, Grade 11 and 12) held at Sinarmas World Academy. The competition is run by the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC) at University of Waterloo Canada and is used as a way to gauge student skills and understanding against the rest of the world. Over 16,800 of Grade 9 to 12 students from around the world participated in this year’s CIMC and CSMC competitions, which tested student abilities in Mathematics. The CEMC develops many internationally recognised contests to help to inspire next generation of students to develop an interest in and love for Mathematics.
