Riveria English for All

English for All is a student-led community service group dedicated to teaching local Indonesian children English. With 2 local schools, 6 different classes, 34 tutors and 150+ students, we go on there weekly excursions where we watch them cultivate a passion for learning English.

Teddy Baby

Teddy Baby exists to support the lives of those in land-fill community. With the goal of empowering women and reducing poverty, we have accomplished the two goals by tripling the ladies monthly income and helping them to become the financial pillars of the families.

Earth Club

Earth club is a CAS project focused on making SWA more environmentally friendly. This year, we worked on several projects such as Clean Up Jakarta event, recycling project and organizing Earth Day. We are currently planning to revive composting and the organic garden.

The Experior

The Experior is an online student-run newspaper. Its aim is to unify the school through publishing news that students would actually want to read, such as funny posts, movie reviews, music recommendations and student advice articles. Go to to see for yourself.


The Global Issues Network Indonesia (GINDO) is a passionate group of students that aims to spread awareness of environmental and humanitarian issues to the school community. GINDO also hosts annual conferences where the students from all over Indonesia find solutions to global issues.

Global Issues Art (GIA)

Habitat for Humanity is an international, non-profit organization that strives to build houses for underprivileged families. Habitat For Humanity in Sinarmas World Academy is a student-led organization that raises funds through events and sponsorships, all the while working closely with Habitat

International Award

International Award is an opportunity students to develop skills, get physically active, give service and experience adventure. It also allows their achievement to be consistently recognized worldwide, giving young people unique international accreditation of their experiences.

Model United Nations (MUN)

Model UN or MUN is an education simulation and/or academic competition in which students learn about diplomacy, international relations and the United Nations. We participate in local and global conferences.

Invisible Children

Invisible Children of Indonesia is a group dedicated to the improvement of education and living conditions of children in Tangerang. Currently the group is fundraising to complete the building of a community center and library for kids in the local village of Margamulya in Mauk.

Art For All

Art For All (AFA) is a creative service project at SWA. We managed to facilitate fun art projects and build closer relationship with orphanage. We have built a solid foundation with Mekar Lestari orphanage in BSD and we are expecting another great year with the children there.

Craft and Teach (CAT)

CAT is a project that collaborates with women from Situgadung village to create crafts and household goods from plastic waste and scrap paper. The profit from the sales of the goods are given to the women as a source of extra income. CAT also teaches the children of these women basic English.

Riveria Football

Riveria Football’s mission is to change the lives of young people from advantaged backgrounds by inviting kids from a local village to play football on our campus. We hope that through Riveria, we can foster new friendships and passion for the beautiful game.


SAVE is a student-led animal rights group based in SWA. We fundraise and use the donated money to support the Jakarta Animal Aid Network by building and maintaining our garden there, as well as socializing their animals and volunteering our time. We also increase animal rights awareness around

Teach for Indonesia (TFI)

Teach for Indonesia (TFI) is a community and service project that provides educational and recreational opportunities for underprivileged children in a nearby village. Every week we pick these kids up and bring them to SWA where we teach them everything from English to IT to photography.
